Oh my goodness， as disheartened as I was after the last book， I couldn't stop smiling when this one ended！ You'll just have to read and see。 I knew I could count on this author not to give up on the situation！ :） I got the biggest kick out of the seniors of Normal competing in the Ms。 Blossom Festival Pageant。 I could just picture （and laughed a lot when I did） Dottie in her bedazzled finery strutting her stuff on that stage。 Toooo funny！ And Miss Mannerly Southern Lady， aka Mary Elizabeth （gott Oh my goodness， as disheartened as I was after the last book， I couldn't stop smiling when this one ended！ You'll just have to read and see。 I knew I could count on this author not to give up on the situation！ :） I got the biggest kick out of the seniors of Normal competing in the Ms。 Blossom Festival Pageant。 I could just picture （and laughed a lot when I did） Dottie in her bedazzled finery strutting her stuff on that stage。 Toooo funny！ And Miss Mannerly Southern Lady， aka Mary Elizabeth （gotta love her！） being so sure she'd win because of her society training。 Another thing you'll want to tune in and see who won！ Mae's life could be made a lot worse if one of them loses！ ;） I literally couldn't put the book down。 The showdown was nail biting but had a great outcome。 I didn't feel like the reveal （definitely a surprise for me！） was hurried this time。 It was just right， and now I absolutely can't wait to get my little KU borrowing hands on the next one！ 。。。more

I am never disappointed when I read ANY of Tonya's books， but this is absolutely my favorite series。 I've followed Mae West and the Laundry Club Ladies from the very beginning and am always entertained and CERTAINLY never bored。 Every book can be read as a standalone， but if you haven't read the others， you'll certainly want to go back and do that！ If not for the sheer entertainment purpose， for sure the back story！Never a spoiler in my reviews， the reader will find entertaining and likable char I am never disappointed when I read ANY of Tonya's books， but this is absolutely my favorite series。 I've followed Mae West and the Laundry Club Ladies from the very beginning and am always entertained and CERTAINLY never bored。 Every book can be read as a standalone， but if you haven't read the others， you'll certainly want to go back and do that！ If not for the sheer entertainment purpose， for sure the back story！Never a spoiler in my reviews， the reader will find entertaining and likable characters， well， okay， there are some that are easy not to like， but hey， don't you expect that in a well-told whodunit， with twists and turns that will keep you guessing？ Just when you think you've figured it out， boom， you are taken in a completely different direction。 Pick up this book and you'll find a good murder mystery that will keep you swiping the pages of your Kindle， with tons of humor and laugh-out-loud moments dropped in， in just the right places。 The Blossom Festival is in full bloom （no pun intended！）， Dottie is ever-present and always has some input， a home invasion， robbery （or was it？）， and the ever-present murder that always seems to pull Mae in up to her knees！ So pull your camper into Happy Trails Camp Ground in the Daniel Boone Nation Forest， Normal， KY， fill your coffee cup to the brim and sit down with this entertaining page-turner。 You'll certainly be glad you did。 。。。more

Blossoms， Barbeques， & Blackmail is the 20th book in the Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery series by Tonya Kappes。It’s hard to imagine to imagine two women more different than Dottie Swagger or Mary Elizabeth Moberly。 Having them both in the Ms。 Blossom Festival Queen pageant was hilarious。 It was over too soon。This is quite a change for Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies investigating a murder that Al and Tucker are in charge of。After 20 books， I feel like I am an honorary Laundry Club Ladies and I’ Blossoms， Barbeques， & Blackmail is the 20th book in the Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery series by Tonya Kappes。It’s hard to imagine to imagine two women more different than Dottie Swagger or Mary Elizabeth Moberly。 Having them both in the Ms。 Blossom Festival Queen pageant was hilarious。 It was over too soon。This is quite a change for Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies investigating a murder that Al and Tucker are in charge of。After 20 books， I feel like I am an honorary Laundry Club Ladies and I’ve been through all these life changes with them。 I like that the mysteries are wrapped up by the end of the book， but there tends to be a bombshell dropped that make you anxious to read the next book。I received an Advanced Reader Copy （ARC） of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review。 。。。more

I really wish I could be in Normal for the Blossom Festival， besides sounding fun the beautiful blossoms everywhere would be worth seeing。I’m so glad for Abbie and BobbyRae getting married and having a place of their own。 Mary Elizabeth is a very proud mama， and is such a great southern lady that she can share her love and good fortune with not just her family， but can include others in the circle。Poor Mae， caught between one of her best friends and her Mama， I think she handled it very well。Thi I really wish I could be in Normal for the Blossom Festival， besides sounding fun the beautiful blossoms everywhere would be worth seeing。I’m so glad for Abbie and BobbyRae getting married and having a place of their own。 Mary Elizabeth is a very proud mama， and is such a great southern lady that she can share her love and good fortune with not just her family， but can include others in the circle。Poor Mae， caught between one of her best friends and her Mama， I think she handled it very well。This episode in Mae’s life had me guessing from the beginning。 I felt so bad for Carrie for her loss， but thought she might be crazy with grief enough to do some bad things。 I was thinking everyone but the right one might be the murderer， in the end it was a total surprise for me to find out who did it and who was being blackmailed。 The call Mae got at the end has me really biting my fingernails waiting for the next book！ 。。。more

Blossoms， Barbeque， & Blackmail is another great book in the Campers & Criminals series。 The mystery is exciting， intriguing， and kept me guessing。 The author has done a wonderful job keeping each book fresh and original。 This may be book 20 but it's new， engaging， and a wonderful read。The author introduced potential suspects， providing the reader with means， motive， and opportunities for each。 Some of the suspects were much stronger than others and it Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies some deep t Blossoms， Barbeque， & Blackmail is another great book in the Campers & Criminals series。 The mystery is exciting， intriguing， and kept me guessing。 The author has done a wonderful job keeping each book fresh and original。 This may be book 20 but it's new， engaging， and a wonderful read。The author introduced potential suspects， providing the reader with means， motive， and opportunities for each。 Some of the suspects were much stronger than others and it Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies some deep thinking to get to the bottom of Jason's murder。 There were twists and turns that had me going in one direction only to have the mystery shift。 The author did a great job building up the suspense until the reveal of the murderer and motive。 As Mae and the Laundry Club unravel the murder， shocking events are revealed， suspects are added， as well as removed， from the list， and danger abounds。 We are also get a bit more familiar with Tucker Pyle， a new ranger in Normal。 I enjoyed getting to know more about him。As with the rest of the books in the series， the mystery isn't the only thing going on in Normal， Kentucky。 Due to recent events in the past couple of books， the dynamic in Blossoms， Barbeque， & Blackmail is slightly off。 It doesn't make the book any less of a masterpiece， I just noticed a subtle difference。 As she does in all her books， Tonya Kappes did a wonderful job of weaving everything together between the murder， the pageant， and the other side stories。There are twists and turns in Blossoms， Barbeque， & Blackmail。 Be prepared for rollercoaster situations， sadness， and extreme joy as you read through book 20。 I'm really excited to see what happens in book 21。 。。。more

This is my favorite book in the series so far。 I loved having Dottie and Mary Elizabeth in the pagent together。 The mystery was really good too。 I love this series so much！ I love the town of Normal and the sense of community the characters have。 They look out for each other and are always there to help each other。 This is the perfect book if you are looking for a warm fun summer read！

The scenes the author come up with amaze me 。 I love the characters and plots it’s mystery and family （ weather blood or super close friends ） The area the story takes place ， police and ranger helping to solve the crime is priceless 。

This series just keeps on rolling。 I love how Mae seems to handle her breakup with Hank by working and being with her friends。 Of course again she helps to solve a murder and all of her friends are as quirky as ever。 This series never disappoints。 I especially love the ending of this book。 I can’t wait fir the next one。 I received a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will。

We’re back in Normal Kentucky where nothing is normal！ Mae West is up to her ears with summer at the Happy Trails Campground。 The Blossom Festival is in full swing。 There’s been another murder and this time the victim was awaiting his own trial for murder。 And， to top it all off， imagine Dottie and Mary Elizabeth competing in a beauty contest。 Mae and the rest of the Laundry Club Ladies are going to be busy trying to figure all this out！ Kudos to Tanya Kappes！ Can’t wait for the next one！

This story was so good！I just love the inhabitants of Normal， KY。 May-bell-ine and the girls are on the case again and this time， Al the sheriff and Tucker the Ranger are unofficially looking for their help！ The Blossom Festival， the Ms。 Blossom pageant and the wittiness between the characters all had me smiling。 The mystery had me guessing up to almost the very end （my fourth guess）。 I can’t wait for the next one！ I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion。
